Musea Records (France) - The musical identity of MIND FURNITURE, a young Progressive rock band from the United States of America, is diverse enough to recall Seventies bands like KANSAS, JETHRO TULL, RUSH or STYX, without forgetting neo Progressive music (MARILLION and its lyrical guitar soli). The musicians "play thoughtful rock with a furnished feel", so they say. Musea has been chosen to publish the second album "Hoop Of Flame" (2007). It's made of two long musical suites (23 and 29 minutes), well structured in five parts each. The tracks shows an inspiration very diverse, with elaborate arrangements thatit keep a good balance between keyboards and guitars. It combines philosophical and metaphysical lyrics with a dynamic feeling and positive vibrations. Let's mention nice vocal parts, sometimes near those of Ian ANDERSON (JETHRO TULL), and intense soli. Ambitious, and successful!
